How does Cheez work?

Cheez uses advanced AI and computer vision to analyze your face in real-time. It detects 19+ facial landmarks, evaluates lighting conditions, and provides instant feedback to help you take perfect selfies. When all conditions meet your quality threshold, the app automatically captures the photo.

Why does the app need camera permission?

Cheez requires camera access to capture selfies and provide real-time AI guidance. All processing happens on your device - your photos never leave your phone unless you choose to share them.

How does the quality scoring work?

Every selfie is analyzed by our AI and receives a score from 0-10 based on factors like lighting, facial positioning, expression, and composition. You can track your improvement over time and try to beat your personal best!

What is the daily selfie limit?

Free users can take 5 selfies per day. After reaching the limit, you can watch a short ad to unlock one more selfie, or upgrade to Cheez Pro for unlimited selfies.

How do I upgrade to Cheez Pro?

Tap the settings icon in the app and select "Upgrade to Pro." Choose between:

• Weekly: $1.99 (7-day free trial)
• Yearly: $39.99 (7-day free trial)

Pro users get unlimited daily selfies and support continued development.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel:

• Open Settings on your iPhone
• Tap your name at the top
• Tap "Subscriptions"
• Select Cheez
• Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID. Select Cheez and choose "Request a refund."

Are my photos private?

Yes! All photo processing happens on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Your photos are stored locally on your phone and never uploaded to our servers. We take your privacy seriously. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Why isn't face detection working?

Make sure you:

• Have granted camera permission to Cheez
• Are in a well-lit environment
• Are facing the front camera directly
• Aren't wearing accessories that obscure your face

If issues persist, try restarting the app or your device.

How do I adjust the quality threshold?

Go to Settings and use the "Selfie Quality" slider. Move it left for easier captures (lower quality threshold) or right for harder captures (higher quality threshold). Find the sweet spot that works for you!

Can I share my selfies?

Yes! After capturing a selfie, tap the share button to save it to your camera roll or share directly to social media apps.

What iOS version do I need?

Cheez requires iOS 16.6 or later. Make sure your device is updated to the latest iOS version for the best experience.
